Local Rules for Araluen Estate 2026

1. OUT OF BOUNDS
a. Beyond any Fence/Road bounding the course.
b. Right hand side of 2nd & 13th Hole as marked

2. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS
a. All garden beds are to be treated as Ground Under Repair and relief must be taken in accordance with the procedure in Rule 16.1.

3. BUNKERS
a. All bunkers on course are lift, clean and replace (excluding grass bunkers) with no penalty within Rule 12.1.
b. A player may remove loose impediments under Rule 15.1 and movable obstructions under Rule 15.2.

4. WATER HAZARDS RULE 17.1(d)
a. Lateral water hazards are defined by red stakes, red lines and/or shape of hazard.
b. Left hand side of Hole 9 is marked as a lateral hazard
c. Left hand side of Hole 16 is marked as a lateral hazard

5. WASHAWAYS/FURROWS
a. If a ball lies in a washaway/furrow in a bunker the player may, without penalty, lift, clean and place in accordance with local rule No 3. BUNKERS following procedure in Rule 16.1(b) and/or 16.1(c).

6. ROADS AND PATHS
a. All roads and paths on the course, even if not artificially-surfaced, are treated as immovable obstructions from which free relief is allowed under Rule 16.1.

7. DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES
a. All measuring devices GPS/Laser/other may only be used for gathering distance measurements in competition. No device may aid in slope/elevation/wind etc as in accordance with Rule 4.3.

8. TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES
a. Rule/s as directed by staff or refer to Notice Board or Website.
b. Bluelines are do not cross points on the course for motorized carts, cart paths must be used.
c. Rake all bunkers after playing out.
d. Sand all divots after stroke if damage to tee box/fairway is caused.
e. Repair pitch marks on greens.
f. All Araluen staff have autonomy over all players on the course at all times.
g. Golf course maintenance staff have priority on course.
